ChicagolandFossilGuy
I have an Annularia stellata fossil (pennsylvanian age) from Tucker County, West Virginia. This is on the backside of the piece and I'm wondering what it is? Tucker County is in northeastern West Virginia, south of Pittsburgh, PA. It's approximately 2 1/2 to 3 inches long. Thanks for your time. Edited March 1, 2021 by ChicagolandFossilGuy
fossilcrazy
Looks like the backside of your fossil, is just the way the outer layer broke away from your nodule. Interesting, yes, additional fossil, no.
