Mainefossils Posted March 2, 2021 Share Posted March 2, 2021 Fossil forum, This is another fossil from the Leighton fm. I have just uncovered it, and at first thought it was a trilobite cheek. On closer inspection I realized that the external and internal mold are not smooth, but appear slightly porous. As well as this, the ridge appears too high in both molds. Any help on its id would be appreciated. Here are some pictures of it (internal mold on the left, external on the right): The more I learn, the more I find that I know nothing.
