Need help with ID

Just wondering if anyone can help with identifying what this is. Found in southern Alberta. Dinosaur Park formation.

This looks like a concretion, to me.

I concur w @fossildude , concreting.

 

instead of cutting it open, where you may cross-cut a potential fossil, you may wish to consider the freeze-thaw approach that ppl use for Mazon Creek fossils
