Nimravis
After dropping my wife off in Georgia for a couple months, I decided to make a quick stop at a favorite spot of mine in Lawrenceburg, Indiana and do a little Ordovician collecting. I did not collect much on this visit, but kept a couple of the pieces that are shown below, it was just nice to be outside without a coat and to feel the 67 degree temp. Nimravis
I also stopped for a short time at the Lawrenceburg roadcut to look around a bit. Tomorrow I will make a stop at the St. Leon roadcut for a bit before heading home. 8

I know I've said it before, but if I ever went to this locality or the St. Leon site ( from which I'm currently studying specimens you sent me), wild horses couldn't drag me away. I expect they'd be busy collecting brachiopods. 1 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.
historianmichael
Looks like a great stop. It is so cool that the ground was literally made of fossil sea floor, full of life. 1 Follow me on Instagram (@fossil_mike) to check out my personal collection of fossils collected and acquired over more than 15 years of fossil hunting! FossilNerd
Nice finds Ralph. I need to get up to that site one day, but I’m afraid I’d be like Adam.( @Tidgy's Dad) and wild horses wouldn’t be able to drag me away! My wife and kids might miss me! 2 The good thing about science is that it's true whether or not you believe in it. -Neil deGrasse Tyson Everyone you will ever meet knows something you don't. -Bill Nye (The Science Guy)
