fossilsonwheels
These will all be from the Mesaverde Formation, Colorado. First up is a 1mm tooth that sure looks like an anterior Heterodontus tooth to me. I am open to any ID suggestions but I see a lot of similarities with the Atco tooth I recently found. fossilsonwheels
I think this one is a Sand Tiger and not a Goblin. It’s 4mm. I think it could be Carcharias but I am not sure.
fossilsonwheels
Another that I believe is Sand Tiger though I suspect possibly Odontaspis. 4mm.
fossilsonwheels
Here is one that I am totally stumped on. No clue. Obviously not complete but I don’t have any suggestions to make. A bit larger at 10mm or so.
fossilsonwheels
Symphseal Sand Tiger ? It’s not a Goblin symphseal. I’ve found one of those. Though not complete I did see similar teeth referred to as Sand Tiger.
