Here are a few recent finds (all plant fragments I believe) from the Early Jurassic East Berlin Formation in Hartford County, Connecticut. Possible plant ID's include Brachyphyllum, Loperia simplex, and Equisetum. Comments, identifications, or corrections are greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Nice!

It's too bad the preservation isn't a bit better, but still, some nice pieces there.  :D

There is a slight possibility that items one and two could be pinnules from Otozamites latior, but I tend to think they are more likely just some stem pieces from some other plant.

Item six I haven't seen before, and item seven could be a branch/twig cast, but I can't be positive.

Paul,

I enjoy seeing what you are finding. Some of the layers have great preservation, and others, not so much. Luck of the draw, I guess.
