Petrified Wood from Triassic of southeastern Pennsylvania

Recommended Posts

This display contains 100+ specimens of the best petrified wood that I found, during more than a decade of fossil-hunting, in the Triassic age Newark Basin of southeastern Pennsylvania.

The material is scarce.

I have plenty more smaller pieces.

The shelves dimensions are 6 feet x 5 feet x 1 foot.

Triassic pet wood from the east is quite rare and a treasure to behold. You have a most impressive collection. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

Very impressive display, very nice to look at. Congrats.

Can not commend on rareness, though.

Have you ever tried to polish one of the smaller ones? Maybe you have already posted this somewhere here and I have missed it...

Thanks!
Franz Bernhard
