Looks like the impression of part of the exterior of a valve of a pelecypod.

I agree.  The matrix appears to be ancient sand with  partial shell impression.  It’s in good shape (impression is not eroded much).  Good color as well. Nice find.

Welcome to the forum! Yep as the others have said!..looks like a fragment of an impression of one of the cockle shells, maybe something like this Trachycardium from inland Sarasota County. You can see the ribbing and chevron patterns like yours especially well in the middle photo (side view).
