NikkiDyess
I found this circular stone type rock in my yard in mississippi. We have a small creek behind our house and we tend to find different rocks there.
daves64
Looks like it might be a water rounded & smoothed quartzite. 1 3 Accomplishing the impossible means only that the boss will add it to your regular duties.

Harry Pristis
Is it spherical, Nikki -- a ball? If so, it could be man-made. http://pristis.wix.com/the-demijohn-page What seest thou else In the dark backward and abysm of time? ---Shakespeare, The Tempest

It is it's very smooth but it has a few little holes in it very tiny holes and it has layers to it but it doesn't really look man-made but I don't know
Harry Pristis
You didn't answer my question, Nikki -- is the object spherical? I'm thinking of a ceramic ball from a ball mill. http://pristis.wix.com/the-demijohn-page What seest thou else In the dark backward and abysm of time? ---Shakespeare, The Tempest

Harry Pristis
Then it's probably a ceramic ball from a ball mill. These wear out (as a set) and are chucked. They are more often taken to be NA artifacts, rather than fossils. 1 http://pristis.wix.com/the-demijohn-page What seest thou else In the dark backward and abysm of time? ---Shakespeare, The Tempest

Harry Pristis
These balls are modern. They are used in a rotating drum to crush minerals/ore (for an example) before smelting. 1 http://pristis.wix.com/the-demijohn-page What seest thou else In the dark backward and abysm of time? ---Shakespeare, The Tempest

NikkiDyess
Okay so I have a little update on this Stone. So like I said I found this Stone in my yard in Mississippi where I live but the lady who lived here before me is a friend of mine and she said that she got this Stone from like Michigan. So I'm still not sure what type of stone it is but it is not man-made and it is natural.
