Several Hop Brook Specimens

SarahtheIchthyornis

Recommended Posts

Several fossils found by my friends and I in Hop Brook we need help IDing,

first, perhaps the tip of a crab claw? (graduations on the side are one mm each)

the second, bog iron, or the relief of a worm burrow?

the third.... uhhh.... I'm not sure, and I being the "expert" of the group, was given it for safe keeping

there are several little streams in monmouth county NJ with the same mixed cretaceous to pleistocene fauna.  Hop brook is in holmdel NJ, and Big Brook runs thr Big Brook Park.

not sure what you have found.  the middle photo looks like ironstone, and the third might be a ray barb?
