Cheery692
I have no idea what I am looking at. Three years ago we moved to a house in the middle of no where with a creek in the property. We have found many many fossils and cool things that I can usually use google to identify. We stumbled upon this and it looks and is shaped just like a turtle. Is this a fossilized turtle? Top Trilo
It has a similar shape to a turtle but unfortunately just a rock. I'm assuming the second image shows a "head" which when fossilizes just the skull remains of the head and it looks quite different than that rock. There are also no signs of turtle shell or bone in your rock. 1 “If fossils are not "boggling" your mind then you are simply not doing it right” -Ken (digit) "No fossil is garbage, it´s just not completely preserved” -Franz (FranzBernhard) "With hammer in hand, the open horizon of time, and dear friends by my side, what can we not accomplish together?" -Kane (Kane) "We are in a way conquering time, reuniting members of a long lost family" -Quincy (Opabinia Blues) "I loved reading the trip reports, I loved the sharing, I loved the educational aspect, I loved the humor.
