milou115
Hi all ! I had the time this week end to prepare few ammonites and nautils... A Gravesia lafauriana from the Kimmeridgian from the region of Aquitaine, quite unusual very hard to prepare (and not finished) it sizes about 25cm A Cenoceras stiatum with an Echioceras raricostatum from the Sinemurian of Bourgogne, interesting association, the nautil is quite interesting because we can see remains of its original shell which is quite anusual. It sizes approximatly 20cms And then a quite large Oxynoticeras oxynotum from the sinemurian of Bourgogne it sizes about 20cm Hoping that you've enjoyed it, I will post more pictures when I'll have some time. See you ! Mil'
Uncle Siphuncle
Cool stuff, Mil. From the Maastrichtian this weekend I grabbed 4 Sphenodiscus c.f. pleurisepta, several Eutrephoceras c.f. planoventer, and another enigmatic ammonite which I'm tentatively calling Anapachydiscus complexus. I'll post images once they are prepped. Grüße, Daniel A. Wöhr aus Südtexas "To the motivated go the spoils."
