Saxon Vinkovic
Hey everyone. So I have recently been fossicking around Yass, NSW, Australia, and have come across a seemingly common formation in the Devonian group both in limestone and just shale and mudstone. It occurs alongside corals, and bivalves (in that case I'm assuming it's marine) and is sometimes in large colonies, such as the ones pictured, as well as independent from one another. Does anyone have any ideas as wo what this may be. Thanks in advance,
Ludwigia
Crinoid stem elements. I would also suggest that you check your spelling before you post your messages. Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/

fossilcrazee
Really nice example of crinoid "hash." I like cleaning these up a bit and using them in displays to illustrate ancient sea floors.
minnbuckeye
Am I imagining this or does the last picture look like an orthocone nautiloid with crinoid hash on the outside.
