Northern Missouri Trilobite Pygidium?

Titan

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I found this specimen in northern Missouri many years ago around when I was eight - and recently rediscovered it while going through my childhood rock collection. The creek I found it in cuts through the Marmaton group. It's about 2 cm at it's widest (marks in mm). I guess my first question is if it's actually a trilobite pygidium and secondly if there's any chance of an identification with as much damage as it's received?

I forgot to add: in picture 3 the view is of the posterior end if it is a pygidium.

Definitely a trilobite pygidium.
