Is this a genuine fossil?

@Big Mac boi ok (by the way your name is great :heartylaugh:) be very careful with those fossils, I believe it is a marine reptile called kurinosaurus (sorry if I butchered) the spelling) it’s prob fake:(. And even if it is real it was prob exported illegally out of China were the marine reptiles are found:unsure:.

This is a Keichousaurus hui.  It looks real enough to me, but fairly poorly prepped.

Keichis are pretty common these days. About 80% have had “help”...mostly of lousy quality...though there are exceptions...

 

video is great but need high resolution close ups to make a valid determination.


I highly caution web purchases from over seas...wysiwyg...is a thing of the past. The interwebs fossil trade is pseudolegal and most often a scam.

I think it's real. Like @Fossildude19  and @LabRatKing said, these are pretty common out of Asia/China. Marine Reptiles in general are found there more and more. To a certain point they are getting overpriced and sometimes poor prepping. But I would not worry about being it fake in my opinion.
