Hello! I’m new here and just found something (first ever!) today at the Withernsea beach in UK. No idea about anything, please help :) Thank you. If you need more pictures, just let me know.

Ammonites.

Weathered ammonite cross-sections, ammonites in nodules, and part of an ammonite outer whorl.

Nice.:)

Thank you! So, this hamburger like shaped is amonites in nodules? What do you think, could I try to take away the stone? Its look like it could be easily „opened” :)

Yes you could give it a try. The inner whorls might still be well-preserved. Please show us snaps once you've done that

Any tips what is the best way to do it and not to damage it, please? I’m totally green with it, don’t want to do any damage... We are still on holidays, it’ll have to be done when we’ll come back...if I’ll be brave enough to break it :) Everytime when we are at the beach I’m looking for fossils, never found anything and I’m really exited to have this lot today, even if they quite common  :)
