Jonathan Raymond
I bought this Sarcosuchus imperator tooth on the internet. This tooth comes from the Erlhaz formation in Niger. It measures 1.92 inch. It is 113 million year old. I trust this seller but i would still like to have your opinion. Do you think it is Sarcosuchus imperator Tooth ? Troodon
Certainly it's possible to be one. I'm not aware other that size that would be diagnostic to definitively say its one. Other Croc's both described and not were present in that fauna. Do you have a more specific locality to support that its from the Elrhaz Fm. FYI although you trust your seller always verify what they are sell/trading before you buy. Just too may trusted sellers with misidentified material.
