Help is this a real spinosaurus toe claw

Alright am not the luckiest man on finding fossils for sale because most of them were fake so am really hoping that this spinosaurus toe claw is real

Do you have clearer pictures? The ones you provided are too blurry to judge.

Blurry pictures never instill me with confidence. You'd think someone selling a nice quality fossil that was real would take the time to get good pictures.

Hmm. That makes me very suspicious for the reason Thomas brought up. I recommend passing on this one unless the seller can provide better pictures.

Those are very blurry pictures. But even from these pictures it's clear that there is at the very least some tampering going on here. It wouldn't surprise me if this is all just random pieces of bone glued together and sanded down to make it look like a claw.

Agree with others.  A good portion of the proximal end looks like it's been reconstructed.  I would definitely avoid.

Those images are not ideal for a proper identification,however,certain details are evident:

1) A "middle crest" is visible in dorsal view.I can't confirm if it's the result of an artificial modification or just taphonomic.

2) Certain areas look somewhat repaired,but I'm not sure,others might know better.

3) The overall morphology does match the ungual ("claw" as usually labelled) of the first digit in Spinosaurus:

  3a) The ungual it's slightly curved (ca.160°) in lateral view.However,it's more curved      than usual (~165°,in most unguals).This could solidify it's identification, coming            from the first digit

  3b) It's comparatively wide in respect to the length.

  3c) It has pronounced furrows(the lateral depressions), visible in lateral and dorsal      view.

  3d) It's dorsoventrally compressed (flattened) compared to other theropods

The bone it's probably real,but might have been repaired,specially around the proximal articulation for the phalanx.
