Wow! The Moroccan isolated just keep amazing, don't they? Too bad the descriptive article is pay-walled, as I would've loved to find out a bit more about the actual material of this mosasaur species - but the blog-post was very informative in its own right. Thanks for sharing!

how did you call a squamate with nasal beetween premaxillary process and frontal process? a varan??? :heartylaugh:

i m curious how the publishers make the diagnosis of this pluridens...

why the scientist didnt separates the differents bones before description ? it s much more easy after for a complete description, the phosphate material is very easy to clean.

i was thinking pluridens was now halisaurus.

According to Wikipedia: "Pluridens was briefly synonymized with Halisaurus by Lindgren and Siverson (2005), but subsequent studies rejected the synonymy."
