Lone Hunter
Not sure what to make of this, came from mix of Cretaceous and QAL, breaks very easily. Thinking it's sedimentary but then wouldn't it be harder? Edited May 14, 2021 by Lone Hunter

Lone Hunter
My first gut feeling was a sedimentary structure, but I'm not 100% there. I couldn't help but smack it since it had a perforation line, it fell apart easily and now I've got more questions. Why aren't the different bands of color going in the same direction as the flow of the structure? Pretty sure I see cross hatching, is that possible if it's sedimentary? Couple other interesting shots from a chip and inside. Edited May 14, 2021 by Lone Hunter
Rockwood
Over my head. Perhaps iron oxide cementation is the best I can suggest. Cross bedding is relatively common in sandstone. Runny stuff. Blows with the wind.
