MoRockHunter
Found in southwest missouri, sorry didn't have measuring tape. I instantly thought dino egg when I seen this, I like it regardless just because it looks interesting. Can anybody tell me what this may be? And if it is an egg is their any way to tell what creature it is from? And since it is currently being used as a garden decoration does it have any value? Lone Hunter
Definitely not an egg, looks like a peice of petrified wood to me but don't run with that.

JohnJ
Looks to be a chert nodule. They are common in Missouri, and often look like eggs.
