Fossilized mushroom?

Found what appears to be a mushroom while arrow head hunting in Arkansas. Is this a mushroom? Is it valuable, and if so what is it worth? Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum. I concur it is not likely a mushroom as those very rarely preserve on account of these being soft tissue, and that fossilized mushrooms that have been found rarely if ever resemble those that grow today.

Please remember that we do not provide valuations. As per the Fossil ID section rules: "Please understand that we do not appraise value!"

Being an interesting concretion, it's worth keeping as a conversation piece.  :)
