Recommended Posts

Today I found another example of Conulariida.  Location: Ile Bizard, North Shore, near Laval.

Age - should be Ordovician. Formation - Montreal or Laval.  It is near 1 -1.5 meters above the lever of the river.

I assumed Ordovician, but not sure if it's Middle, Late, or what? I don't know the geology of the area very well. Anyway as long as you record the exact location for each of your finds the rest can be figure out later, presumably.

It must be Middle Ordovician Laval Formation, since I don't believe that there is such a thing as a Montreal Formation.
