Lone Hunter
Eagle Ford sandstone, found a cool trace fossil and curious what made it. Could only find one somewhat distinguishable thing and really can't tell what it is other than looks like shell. Lots of burrows and maybe worm? Found several little circles with dot in the middle but hard to get all images. The trace looks like a sperm best way to describe it.
Rockwood
Poorly, very poorly, preserved chain coral would be worth considering.

Rockwood
I think the odds are equally bad for all of it.

Fossildude19
Can a mechanical ding/scratch to the rock be ruled out? This doesn't really look like a trace fossil, to me. Lone Hunter
Alright quit trying to crush my trace fossil I suppose my argument would be the trail goes over a hump and then down a slope into a recessed part without ever losing contact and the depth of the trail doesn't change. Wrangellian
I see trace fossil (burrows) in the 1st and last pics, but nothing really of note in the rest. Maybe small bits and pieces of things, along with scratches/dings and natural fractures in the rock, if that's what you're looking at...
Lone Hunter
That's all I see too, the only interesting thing was the trail with flower shape at end, I guess a coincidental scratch and ding together.
Wrangellian
I think I see what you're talking about, but I wouldn't read too much into that!
