Paleontologists Classify New Species of Titanosaur, Largest Dinosaur of Australia

Paleontologists have classified a a new species of Titanosaur, Australotitan cooperensis, found in 2007 in South-West Queensland. It is the largest dinosaur ever discovered in Australia.

Australotitan is the sauropod informally dubbed "Bananabendersaurus" on one internet source. Who can imagine how far we've come in our knowledge of sauropod diversity in Australia since 2009?
