Curious as to what exactly a couple of these teeth actually are. I have some suspicions but I defer to the resident experts. Thank you! If I had to pick a species, I. desori or I. precursor. Float teeth on the southern NC beaches could be from a variety of ages, and without stratigraphic data, sometimes it's difficult to get beyond genus. Nice tooth, regardless The smaller of the two is probably one of the 'sand tigers', but without the roots or cusplets, there are a lot of candidates to pick from 'Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.'
