Share your favourite ICE AGE era fossils, I love to collect them myself :)

 

This is my favourite fossil:

 

Coelodonta antiquitatis lower jaw

Length: 42CM

Weight: 3,557KG 

Location: Permafrost, Siberia

That jaguar canine is just killer! I'm not into mammal material at all, but that's one item that'd still be on my wishlist! :notworthy:

Oh boy good thread . Posted this tons of times already. First my Megaloceros giganteus skull. My Megatherium vertabra and one of my two Megaloceros giganteus antlers .

Wow! Is that skull authentic? Incredible pieces! I love sloth material! I’ve got a 3 1/2” Paramylodon tooth and 4.4” Eremotherium tooth!

Yes it is authentic . I do too although collecting sloth stuff is pretty recent for me . sweet! I got an Eremotherium tooth as well as one from Paramylodon harlani and garbani.

Eremotherium is about 3 1/2, P. harlani is my favorite sloth tooth is about 4 inches and my P.garbani is the smallest.

I’m not familiar with that species, Bear I’m assuming though, right? How big is it?

It still an extant species, is commonly called sun bear. During the pleistocene it lived also in Java while now is limited on the mainland, the tooth is 8 cm long
