Fossil ID from beach find

Hi! I am new to the Fossil Forum and to fossil hunting and identification. (First post and haven't explored forums much.) I found this on the beach at North Topsail, NC. Hoping to identify what I found.

That's a fish hypural, which is the bone at the rear of the spine that acts as a base for the tail fin.
