w107saa Posted June 25, 2021 Share Posted June 25, 2021 My kiddo is super into fossils at the moment and the best place for us to look is the Blakeley Formation in Seattle. FranzBernhard Posted June 26, 2021 Share Posted June 26, 2021 Welcome to TFF from Austria! In the first pic I see many recent barnacles; the brownish part seems to be a tectonic breccia of some sort. Second pic shows - in my opinion - some mineral growth in a crack, with one of the rocks bordering the crack removed. Or maybe some kind of recent organism growing on the surface of the rock, I am not quite sure. Summary: At first glance - no fossils.
