Fossil ID please (Mahantango)

Hello,

This is a fossil from the Devonian Mahantango formation in PA.  Looks like some bryozoan but the pattern seems too fine for a Fenestella. The dimensions of the fossil (not the rock sample) are 60x30mm.

I looked around at a few books and fossil ID guides but did not find any direct comparable. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is a fenestellid of some description, though not necessarily Fenestella.

I have several rocks full of fenestellids from the Mahantango myself but haven't got around to researching the ids yet, I'm afraid.

Your specimen is a beauty. :)

I agree with Tidgy's Dad, it is a beautiful specimen of a fenestellid, but I don't know the genus off the top of my head.

Unfortunately Shamalama's blog, (Views of the Mahantango) does not go further on identification of bryozoan species.  :(
