More rugosa and tabularia. Marcellus shale. Look like at least 4 species.

Any advice on how to make them look better? The shale is pretty hard.

Another cross-section (at an angle) with a bit more clarity and contrast. The mineralization is mostly calcite with some possible hematite/limonite. A later diametric crack was also filled with calcite. 

I was looking at the map and this is actually at the boundary of the Marcellus and the underlying formation (Buttermillk Falls?)
