I need help trying to figure out if this rock I just found yesterday is a fossilized egg or nut. Measures 1 3/4" in length and 1 1/2" in height. I think it's a fossilized nut. TRexEliot Posted July 10, 2021 Share Posted July 10, 2021 I'm far from an expert, but there's a chance it's an artifact. Could be a hammer stone or a fishing net weight.
