Found a Fossilized Tooth

I found this fossilized tooth in in Sarasota Florida in the sand of a man made freshwater river, I'm pretty sure the sand itself is natural though, but I'm wondering what creature this might belong to

The condition makes the call a bit tough, but I'll say Mosasaur might have the odds based on shape alone. If the sand is indeed natural the location tends to favor it being a crocodilian however.

Gator. I see on the tags it was found in Florida; which rules out Mosasaur.

Thanks for the help but I found out that it was a gator tooth, sorry that I left out info
