andreisid20
I found this piece while i was climbing a mountain in the Romanin Carpathian mountains. I found it near a trail in an area with stones and gravel. When i saw it i thought it was an odd rock but then i looked at it and the shape is quite close to a shark tooth. As i knew, the area of the Carpathian Mountains was an ocean for a long time and i was wondering if it is a shark tooth fossil or just a rock. Fossildude19
Welcome to the Forum. Unfortunately, this is not a tooth. There is no enamel present, and no bone structure to the "root" area. 1 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks."
