Help with suspected carpal bone

Would greatly appreciate if anyone has thoughts on this bone found on the beach in Myrtle Beach. It is triangular, laterally compressed, and has a concave articulating surface on the long edge.

I’m thinking some type of carpal bone?

Turtle or dolphin, maybe.

Thanks in advance!

I agree with Eric, looks almost like a partial vert

Every once in a great while it's not just a big rock down there!
