Unsure - Ordovician, lower Bobcaygeon, north of Manitoulin

Not positive about this one. Found today north of Manitoulin, low to middle Bobcaygeon Fm. Despite very common ostracods, this is not a conspicuous cluster of them, methinks. Echinoderm? About 6 cm top to bottom.

Does it compare well with the tubercles on this specimen of Bufoceraurus?

This one will be an easy abrasion since it is likely just a fragment.

Yup. Same as where we found the Bufo frag last year. Place hasn’t changed at all. Did find a possible complete, but small, Ceraurus there. Not much else. Doing spot 2 all day tomorrow.

 

We did go to K’s. Canoed, swam, drank, had a good dinner. We came up through the 400/69, staying halfway from Sudbury. Ferry on Saturday afternoon.
