Atrypha or Atrypa

Recommended Posts

I bought a couple brachiopods not to long ago and the information that came with them says they are "Atrypha sp." but when I look up "Atrypha sp." all that I find is "Atrypa sp."

I would really like to know if the information that came with them is correct or not.

Thanks in advance! :)

Do you know from whence it came?

The detail of the ornamentation and the extended trail has me thinking Spinatrypa.

Yes, well, I've now changed my mind. Or rather your new photos have.

Now I think Atrypa reticularis.
