Newbie to brachiopods, can I get some advice on ID

Hello everyone. 

I have come across these in my collection and could someone gives me info at all. Possibly just the common name and maybe a rough time period.

The branch looks like Calamites to me, @Tidgy's Dad may be able to help with the brachiopods. Calamites is mostly carboniferous so 360-300 million years ago, I'd say.

I don't think it 's a plant, but a rugose coral.

We'd have to have a look at the ends of it to determine.

 

I also see two spiriferid brachiopods, and a rhynchonellid, something similar to Uncinulus sp..

Possibly pointing to Devonian time period.

Not sure, though.

The image of the end definitely looks coraly. Sorry about any confusion I may have caused.
