Stufm
Spotted this in a small bay on Anglesey, Wales. There were lots of other small shellfish type fossils mostly in slate rocks, but this one was larger and seems to have vertebrae? Could anyone offer any insight into what this is please? Many thanks. I don't think it's a glacial erratic, so doubt this is an ammonite. Looks like Carboniferous limestone to me. 1 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend. Misha
To me this piece looks like a large solitary rugose coral running through the stone
