Last Friday I was in Ottawa and visited the Canadian Museum of Nature for a bit.  It’s been a while since I last visited.  Here are some of my photos (there’s so much more at the museum but I kept this centred only around the fossil gallery).  Enjoy!

Nice to see some more photos from one of my favorite museums. :tiphat:

Here's a link to a post I made a few years ago about the Canadian Museum of Nature, for anyone who wants to see some more (or other photos of some of the same exhibits) from this world-class museum.

Fond memories when I grew up in Ottawa and all our school trips there. Back then, it was called the Museum of Man. My absolute favourite were the mammal dioramas that were so visibly engrossing. I was able to savour the nostalgia in seeing them again during a return visit in 2016. :)

That’s awesome, also I never knew it used to be called the Museum of Man I thought it was always the Canadian Museum of Nature and the Canadian Museum of Civilization/History was called the Museum of Man at one point.
