Just acquired a nice Osteolepis from the Old Red Sandstone of Scotland! I love the scales on this fish, each one is like a shiny black gemstone. 

 

She now lives at the bottom drawer where I keep my oldest Fossils.

Beautiful! 

I got one not too long ago and I am absolutely in love with it. They are beautiful fossils and incredibly interesting organisms.
