Vnaz50
I found this rock on the edge of the hill in my backyard in Helotes, Tx. The previous heavy rains have exposed a lot on my hillside. I am in sure what the wood looking pieces are in pictures 3&4. If anyone is familiar, that would be great. digit
I'm seeing nothing other than geologic features here. Possibly, our members from TX may comment on the type of limestone like rock that these may be composed of. Not seeing anything indicative of petrified wood here. Cheers. -Ken 1
Wrangellian
I'm not sure how to account for the 'grain' we see on that side of the piece, but it may be only geological/erosion. I think I see bits and pieces of fossils (shells) in other places, though. Edited August 22, 2021 by Wrangellian 1
