guerormd
Found this on my land I live in North Texas, Dallas Texas specifically. Not familiar with fossil but would like to know any information anyone has on this. It’s about 4 inches in length 2.5 inches wide. It has some other impressions on it which I zoomed in on one of the pictures.

DPS Ammonite
The colors of the interior indicate that it is a modern oyster. Modern meaning since human occupation. My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned. See my Arizona Paleontology Guide link The best single resource for Arizona paleontology anywhere. So would it even be considered a fossil do you happen to know?
JohnJ
Not a fossil at all. Someone could have made a run to the coast in the last decade for fresh oysters and tossed the shells. 1 2 The human mind has the ability to believe anything is true. - JJ
