fifbrindacier
Hi, can you tell us where you found them, what is their age and their size ? Photo one, maybe a brachiopod, photo 2 and 5 imprints and mold of pelecipod, photo three, a geodized fossil (coral ?), photo six a possible crinoid, photo 7 a coral i think. Please, wait for other's opinion. Cheers, Sophie. "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." pmaher714
I'm sorry they were found in saline creek and Antire creek in High Ridge Mo. or skull bone creek in Cedar Hill mo.I live very close to big river, the meramac river and the mississippi river it makes finding local natural creeks that have a large variety of rocks easy. The creeks are usually not located in a specific park. There are really amazing fossils, crystals, Indian artifacts, and rocks in general around where I live in Missouri. I have no idea on how old they are. I have found all the ones I've posted in the last year or two. The first one has around a 2 centemeter diameter the second is a between the size of a large marble and a golf ball the third is almost the same size as a baseball the forth is softball size the fifth is about 1 centemeter long and maybe an eighth of a centemeter wide the sixth is about the size of a baseball it's hard to get a good idea of it's actual size from a picture because it's inside of this extremely heavy rock that is about the size of a milk create the seventh is about the size of a softball. The second and sixth are covered in crystals you can't see it in the photos the third has a hole on the side and is filled with crystals . I hope this info will help with further identification. Coco
Hi, I suppose you live in Montana (Mo under your avatar). A lot of members of this forum are from all around the world, and don't know the size of a golf ball, baseball, sofball etc... Please use a rule or indicate the sizes in cm or in inch Coco ---------------------- OUTIL POUR MESURER VOS FOSSILES : ici Ma bibliothèque PDF 1 (Poissons et sélaciens récents & fossiles) : ici Ma bibliothèque PDF 2 (Animaux vivants - sans poissons ni sélaciens) : ici Mâchoires sélaciennes récentes : ici Hétérodontiques et sélaciens : ici Oeufs sélaciens récents : ici Otolithes de poissons récents ! ici Un Greg... pmaher714
Thank you for the complaints on my finds and the welcome to the site. I'm so happy that I have found a site that actually can help with things like identification. I shouldn't have abbreviated, I live in Missouri. I am horrible at measurements. I will try my best to be more specific and refrain from using objects as size reference.
Ludwigia
My gut feeling tells me that some of these are Echinodermata, although the last one may be a coral. Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/
