Big Mac boi
I have found this psittacosaurus skeleton for sale and was wondering if it's authentic the skull looks a bit funky but not sure about the rest Edited August 27, 2021 by Big Mac boi Typo
connorp
Even if the bones are real, they are almost certainly not from the same individual.
Troodon
Pretty typical of what you see on the market as Psittacosaurus bones, this one from a very young animal.. I would not call it a skeleton but a group of composite parts that are made to look like one but missing numerous bones like vertebral column, femurs, ribs and some of the hip bones. The condition of the bones are pretty bad, some are partial or broken. The photos of skull is not sharp enough to tell what, if anything has been done to it but I would be very suspect considering the rest of the assemblage .
Crazyhen
I agree with Troodon that this looks like a group of composite parts. The bones may be real but not necessarily be of Psittacosaurus, many of the so-called Psittacosaurus specimens are actually "craved" from bones from other animals (e.g. mammal fossil bones). The one below is likely to be genuine but one could not be certain about it if it's not in hands for close examination.
Big Mac boi
Hi everyone I just received the spiecmen and I took extra photos of the skull to check if it's authentic Edited September 21, 2021 by Big Mac boi More readable
LordTrilobite
Most likely a composite of different individuals. The sizes of the bones looks all over the place. It seems very mismatched. 1 Olof Moleman AKA Lord Trilobite
