ParkExplorer
Hi all, Just finished up a vacation in North Myrtle Beach, SC. Each of these three teeth were found in the ocean swash upon crushed up shells. Can anyone identify any of the three? The last one (I did post in a separate thread, but figured I include it again) is just the tip (which looks pretty large to me as it’s almost as big as a dime - attached multiple photos). Really can’t determine what this might be? Looks very old and worn.
ThePhysicist
First is a lower anterior (?) great white (Carcharodon carcharias). Second is a requiem shark (upper), I would guess bull (Carcharhinus leucas). The third doesn't have enough features for accurate identification. Nice finds. 1 2 "Argumentation cannot suffice for the discovery of new work, since the subtlety of Nature is greater many times than the subtlety of argument." - Carl Sagan "I was born not knowing and have had only a little time to change that here and there." - Richard Feynman Collections: Hell Creek Microsite | Hell Creek/Lance | Dinosaurs | Sharks | Squamates | Post Oak Creek | North Sulphur River | Lee Creek | Aguja | Permian | Devonian | Triassic | Harding Sandstone Instagram: @thephysicist_tff

Gareth_
I'd agree with the above, top tooth is a Great White, love those very pronounced serrations!
grandpa
Regarding tooth #3, please see: http://www.thefossilforum.com/index.php?/topic/41206-show-your-smallest-megalodon-teeth/page/2/&tab=comments#comment-1291361 and http://www.thefossilforum.com/index.php?/topic/117551-what-type-of-shark/&tab=comments#comment-1290970 for prior responses to your question regarding the same tooth.
