JT26
Hi, I have a 6 year old son who is obsessed with finding stuff on the beach. (In Essex) The other day he brought something over to me and I’m convinced he found a fossil of some kind. He now wants to know what it might be, and so do I! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Calli99
It doesn’t look like a fossil to me I’m afraid, although more pictures would help. Have a look at this website, there are some great fossil hunting locations around Essex. https://ukfossils.co.uk/category/essex/

I’ve taken a few more pictures of it, if it’s not a fossil, I’m still interested in what it might be.
Tidgy's Dad
Hello, and a very warm welcome to TFF to you and your wonderfully curious son!. Not a fossil, I'm afraid, but wifey is from Essex and I've collected a lot of nice fossils there. Keep him at it. Next time. Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.
