Suchomimus tooth, with a root?

Hi all.

It seems I'm spamming the forum these days..

I came across this suchomimus tooth, and I'm aware many are in fact croc teeth. Does anyone here know whether this is suchomimus or crocodile?

I would lean towards sucho but honestly need to see the base profile as all the enamel has been worn away by the sand.

Thanks, I'll inquire about a base profile picture

It does look like a Suchomimus but its poor preservation has key characteristics for identification lacking such as serrations and texture.   The longitudinal fluting is however present.   Has the seller provided you formation and location where it was found?

Elrhaz formation, Gadoufaoua, Republic of Niger.

Sorry for not providing that in the first place

This is my tooth, it is definitely a Suchomimus. Here are some more pics - serrations are worn, but noticeable on both carinae.

Hi all, here is a suchomimus tooth from Niger, it's been posted before:

But now I'm wondering if this tooth has a partial root. Are these pictures good enough for anyone to see it properly? I'm pretty sure it is because it expands on the bottom 1/3 and the carinae on the front ends before it reaches the bottom

The mesial carina typically goes down to the cervix on these teeth so that would be the transition to the root.  The  preservation will make it difficult to make an exact call
