Paleorunner
The sales description for this insect was mosquito, but I don't think it is. Looking in collections (insects) it has resemblance to stonefly. can someone tell if i'm right? or what inscto could it be? 1 ctm Upper Jurassic. Daohugou Formation. Randyw
I’m not an expert on fossil bugs but it does resemble some stoneflies I’ve seen in amber and pictures I’ve seen of stonefly fossils….

Thank you, there are two of us seeing the resemblance, like i said i have compared it by looking at tff (collections, bugs). but given my little experience, I have asked if someone can confirm it for me. Rockwood
You may be a while waiting for a paleoentomologist. It isn't the easiest of callings.
Fossildude19
The pictures are not of great quality - not much detail can be seen here. Yes, the quality of the microscope does not help much, but the conservation of the insect helps less. It is not well defined on the rock, somewhat blurred, the wings are hardly visible. Yeah okay but it could look better. @oilshale Maybe it could help, the stonefly that I looked at, he included them in the collection.
