Help identifying

Creekfinds

Recommended Posts

This item is fairly large with even weight when held, there is a defined edge that is tapered with the bottom having a curvature and overall triangular appearance. No other material in the area that resembles it so far. I realize could be nothing but wanted to post due to the abnormal shape. Curious if anyone else has idea, we have researched a little but figure more knowledge here that could help.

Appreciate any responses.

To me it looks like a piece of limestone that has been rolled and water worn, then broken in half and then water worn some more.

Sometimes, rocks/minerals form in lenses, which can give this type of appearance once freed of surrounding matrix.

Not seeing anything fossil related here, however.
